There is only 1 class today, at 10am. In keeping with Memorial Day tradition, we're doing "Murph".

This year, we wanted to try and make the experience a bit more significant to help Veterans. We’ll be collecting donations for @thereveilleproject and anyone who donates at least $5 will be entered in a raffle to win a weight vest. We met the fine folks from The Reveille Project last year at the CrossFit Games’ nonprofit summit. Let's sweat, high five, and remember some days it’s about more than the score on the board.

WORKOUT OF THE DAY:

MOVEMENT PREP:
2 sets:
10 High Knee Lunge + Twist
10 Cossack Squat
10 Jump Squats
10 Scap Push up
10 Scap Pull up
10 Thoracic Rotation in Squat
5 Inchworm

CONDITIONING:
"Murph"

For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run
-Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you've got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor".
